Dogs
Dogs are like the motorcycle of the pet world.They provide therapy and companionship without drawing away all of my energy.If you are looking for a new canine companion, I urge you to check the local rescues/humane societies. They often have many wonderful fur-friends available who could use your love.
People
I am an introvert, it's not that I don't like people, it's more that I feel drained by interacting with people, especially in groups. While the people I meet are generally nice, I see that not everyone shares that experience.Please try to treat others with respect, help people when you can, and remember we are all more similar than we are different.My daughter (pictured) is one of the people I spend the most time with, she has been riding with me since before she was this size.
Motorcycles
This is my primary motorcycle, a 2018 Triumph Bonneville T-120. I have been quite happy with it to this point, and look forward to many more years and (s)miles.I picked it up on Star Wars day 2019, to replace a 2009 Speed Triple, that was totalled when I was rear-ended at a stoplight.Sometimes, I need to track down links to things I am shopping for, going to include those links here.
Dogs
This is Artie, he was the bestest, most fluffiest boy.He joined our family in October 2012 as a fully grown and heartworm positive rescue. He was a constant companion to my wife, but tolerated me and would spend time with me when she wasn't around :)I hadn't previously met a dog that was so expressive, and personable. Everyone who met him was better for it.Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to mister Artie in December 2021, but he will forever be in our thoughts.
This is Furman, he is our stoic ninja. We adopted him in November 2021 as an 8 year old rescue.
We are still learning each other, but he enjoys being around people, is very gentle, quiet, sneaky, a bit stubborn, and super cuddly. He also gets the zoomies, where he runs around and plays like a puppy. We are so happy he has joined our family.
